The month of February isn’t know for its gorgeous sunny days, but we lucked out with this session. I met Danielle through her mom who is the office manager at my pediatrician office. Yes, this is a small town. Everyone seems to know of everyone else and yet I still meet new people all the time. Turned out Danielle is business owner too and an awesome stylist. She owns Wild Orchid Salon (I highly recommend!). Danielle knew what she wanted and event sent me a secret pintrest board full of ideas (love this!). We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful day and now they are enjoying their sweet baby boy. Congrats to the new family of FOUR!

When was the last time you had portraits taken with your parents? Or grandparents? You were likely in a white dress or a tux. Unfortunately, the last time most of us take portraits with our parents and grandparents is weddings and special occasions. I think it is time for that to change! Parents and grands are always welcome at my family sessions. Document the interaction and love between generations. It is priceless!

Here are a few images from a recent Generational Family Session. Seeing these photos had us both a little emotional!

These gorgeous girls often scout out locations with me but this time we did a real photoshoot – hair, clothing, going out at the right time of day. I have a better understanding of what my clients have to go through to ever everyone to the session location in one piece!

Once we arrived, the girls loved the field of rolling bluebonnets. I couldn’t get over the amazing aroma form all the blooms. Really wish there lasted longer than a few weeks.
