With the way social media works, it’s hard to get a sense of a full session sometimes – which is why I love blogging so much (even though I don’t do it nearly as much as I should!). It gives me more than .2 seconds to talk about my beautiful clients!
Kyra is an amazing person, dancer, daughter and friend. I love getting to know my senior clients and keeping in touch with them after they graduate. Kyra is from the class of 2018 and was the captain of her dance team. She now attends the University of Hawaii and yes, we are all jealous!
For her session, Kyra meet with our make up artist before and then we meet in a random field (that of course was mowed the next day and all the flowers were gone – photographer sad face). for a few beautiful spring portraits with gorgeous flowers (really, weeds, but they never looked so good!). Then we headed to a local shopping area and Krya did a quick change for the new location. If you want to know what color is Kyra’s color, it’s red. Full stop. She looks amazing in it. Look at this dress and tell me it isn’t perfect for her?! This sweet find was from Ruebird Market – they have the cutest clothes and, side note, my senior’s get a coupon to that store.
Okay, so then off to a new location with a different look for sunset portraits. She rocked her Encore Dance outfits, letterman jacket — all things senior year!
So, what do you do with these gorgeous portraits when all is said and done. Instagram and facebook posts do not do them justice! Kyra and her family opted for the Classic Collage and the Senior Signture Book. A perfect choice to enjoy her portraits for many, many years to come. You can see more of those HERE.
I may not always be the most timeliest blogger, but I do get it done. So here are a FEW of my favorite portraits of Kyra’s Senior Portrait Experience! Laki maika’i, Krya!
